I've lately been doing some work with high school classes (and marking undergrad papers) around a few major issues, and I'm actually quite struck by what I'm seeing. These teenagers and young adults 'get it' on a deep level (at least a lot more so than I had expected) and their frustration with the failures of their parents generation is palpable. I wonder if we'll see shift in a few years when that generation matures and establishes itself...
