And now, back to regularly scheduled programming...

A few bits and snippets:

Item:
Bush lied. (Who knew?)

Item: Atomic warheads veer off-course. Almost as scary as a human rights tribunal.

Item: Kids for Khadr. Well, someone has to do it, and it won't be the vicious ideologues running our government at the moment. The commentators currently calling the BC Human Rights Tribunal a "kangaroo court" (and, by so doing, revealing their patent ignorance of what the term actually means) should check out a real one for a change, and at least try to feign a little indignation. Or is that asking too much?

If any single issue reveals the cold, diseased soul of the Conservative Party of Canada, in fact, it has to be the Khadr case. We have possibly trumped-up charges against a child soldier, and
a corrupt, deformed legal process that profanes the very name of justice. All this is happening to a Canadian citizen, and our wretched rulers won't lift a finger to help him. Kind of makes you wish you could use Stephen Harper as a human mop, eh?
